The Underground Mine Tour is almost complete. This first-ever underground mine tour in Kentucky will take visitors to the underworld world that miners saw everyday. The mine rehabilitaion is engineered by Mining Consulting Services, Inc.

The Lamphouse Museum is open daily and showcases both the historic and comtemporary tools miners would have used to mine coal. The Lamphouse's original purpose was to provide headlamps and other lighting for miners before entering the neighboring portal 31.
